EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW 2019: 2 www.cpa.uk.net CPA Bulletin > February 2019 13 On both the cabbed and canopy versions the tracks expand from 990 - 1,320 mm, aiding stability when working but also allowing for easier site access and transportation when tracks are fully retracted. For an excavator in this class size it has very good capabilities, helped by a long arm giving a dig depth of 2.38 metres and a dump height of 3.41 metres. Two brand new JCB machines will be showcased for the first time at the show - the CT260 roller and JCB 19C-1E electric mini excavator. The 19C-1E is JCB’s first ever electric excavator - the quietest digger in its range and one delivering zero emissions. It will allow contractors to work inside buildings, in emissions-sensitive inner city environments and in tunnels or underground, without having to install costly exhaust extraction equipment. It features three lithium-ion battery packs providing a 312Ah (15kWh) storage capacity while the convenient on-board charger with 230V/110V input gives 5-8-hour recharging capability. A standard load-sensing hydraulic system delivers powerful digging performance and the sophisticated battery management system ensures full-shift availability. The brand new CT260 tandem roller has a maximum operating weight of 2740kg and powered by a Tier 4 Final 18.5kW engine, it brings improved fuel economy without the need for a costly DPF or fuel additives. It features three simple, switchable vibration settings: for both drums, independent front and independent rear, with Automatic Vibration Control as standard. Bobcat will be showing the Bobcat E10 zero tail swing mini-excavator, now renamed the E10z, which this year has passed the landmark of 10,000 units sold around the world, the majority of which have been in the rental sector. Alongside the E10z will be the 7/31G+ compressor generator from Doosan Portable Power, which incorporates an 8.6 kVA generator and is aimed at the utilities industry and rental companies serving this sector. The main feature which differentiates the E10z from other machines on the market is the patented side adjustable consoles which accommodate hydraulic pilot pressure controlled joysticks. Compressor generators from Doosan Portable Power are aimed at the utilities industry and rental companies serving this sector. The larger 8.5 kVA generator option meets a specific requirement in utility work to meet the demands of the latest fusion welding equipment, providing electrical power that can also be used for lights and tools together with compressed air for powering breakers and other pneumatic equipment. The generator option is available on two machines - the 7/31+ model, providing a free air delivery of 3.0 m3/min at an output pressure of 7 bar and the larger 7/41+ portable compressor, supplying 4.0 m3/min of compressed air at 7 bar output pressure. Mecalac Construction Equipment UK Ltd will showcase a number of models from its product portfolio at the show. Alongside the all-new 6MDX cabbed site dumper, Mecalac will exhibit its rental-tough MBR-71 pedestrian roller and TV-1200 tandem compaction roller. Each model has been designed from the ground-up to provide operators with a reliable and robust hire solution. Tufftruk is bringing the new TRUXTA range of battery powered mini dumpers. Compact and portable the TRUXTA Bendie allows access into the most environmentally sensitive areas allowing eight-hours of continuous operation with zero emissions. The compact battery unit with an in-built charger also provides noise-free operation. The new range has a regenerative-braking system to help the slow down when stopping; this generates power into battery pack, to increase efficiency and range. At just 730mm (850mm) wide the TRUXTA 4×4 is really compact and gets into places other units can’t. The mini dumper’s articulated chassis means that it handles corners with minimum effort - just steer around bends and
