www.cpa.uk.net CPA Bulletin > February 2019 19 Wirtgen Limited will be presenting two models from the Hamm HD CompactLine - the HD8VV and the HD12VV from a range of 16 models available in the sub 4.5 t weight category. Four models from the CompactLine are available with oscillation which provides environmentally friendly and efficient compaction technology. A major advantage of oscillation is that it achieves a very fast increase in compaction. The benefits are particularly noticeable for processes such as compaction of thin asphalt layers. Another advantage is a much lower level of vibrations with oscillatory rollers than with vibratory rollers, making them ideal for compaction tasks in inner city locations where they can compact systematically without vibration damage to buildings or pipework. Oscillation optimises compaction at joints with existing road surfaces, for example during minor repairs. All CompactLine models over 2.5t in weight can include LED drum lighting, an important safety feature to enable the driver to see where they are compacting. DART Tool Group will be displaying their popular range of what the company call its ‘extreme performance’ Red Ten Diamond Products. The DART Red Ten Diamond range of blades, cores, mini porcelain holesaws and abrasive disks have been manufactured to the highest standards, say Dart, offering the construction industry with a reliable and robust diamond product, every time. DART Red Ten Diamond Blades are split into Trade, Pro and Ultra Performance with a blade for every application for abrasive and non-abrasive materials, from Concrete to Asphalt to Tile. With their quick and easy chart which is on the back of each blade box, DART Red Ten Diamond users will always know exactly what blade they need for the job. NightSearcher will be introducing the Tower Pro at this year’s show. This ultra-bright mains flood light emits an impressive 16,000 lumens spread across 360° and projected up to 50 metres, it can be powered from a 230V or 110V supply. NightSearcher say that this robust floodlight is ideal for the hire industry. It has a tough aluminium housing, is quick and easy to setup, and has fold-able and lockable light heads with anti-glare diffused lenses providing wide spread, shadow-free light. The Tower Pro is supplied with 10 metres of heavy duty H07RN-F cable and extendable tripod that raises the floodlight up to 2.5 metres. Stanley is using the EHS to officially launch the Sprinter 250 to its range of award- winning stair climbers. The new model has the capacity to carry loads weighing up to 250Kg, perfect for safely and efficiently moving larger items up and down the stairs. Stanley report that the stair climber is lighter, faster and more robust than other models currently available on the market. 12Kg has been removed from the previous 190 model, which is invaluable to an operator using the equipment for lengthy periods. The lithium battery technology provides reliability for up to 2000 steps before the next charge. And with quick in-transit charging, users can recharge the battery on the go - satisfying those workers who are on the road for long periods of time. With multiple applications and accessories, the 250 is customisable to a range of businesses. Stanley claim that the ultimate benefit is that the hirer will generate a return on their investment in just five weeks! There will be live demos throughout the show. Pramac-Generac UK is showcasing its range of Gas generators at the EHS, which will see the company expand its current range of mobile and industrial Pramac power solutions, as well as its gas partner network. The new Pramac Gas range will be available via UK gas partners as soon as January 2019 and will offer an alternative fuel choice for stand-by generators, which will be as high performing as diesel. With the burgeoning green agenda and increasing demand for alternative fuels in back-up power, natural gas is an inspired solution for many stand-by genset applications. It provides much longer runtimes and delivers a greener fuel solution with reduced NOX emissions. David Oates, Managing Director, Pramac-Generac UK said: “By harnessing our 50-year heritage and experience in the power industry, this latest line has been developed in parallel with our current diesel and petrol products. We can present our customers with greater choice and contemporary power products as pressure mounts to source and make alternative fuel choices.” National Flooring Equipment will showcase its 5000 cinq-mille and 5700 ride-on floor strippers. The 5000 is a compact ride-on floor stripper that can be used in a range of applications, including soft and hard goods removal. The 5700 all-day battery powered ride-on stripper can work for up to twelve hours on a single charge and remove goods in most applications. Visitors to the stand will also see the power hammer trolley. Working with an upright power hammer can be uncomfortable, making it more difficult to work efficiently. Contractors can use the trolley to change the angle of the power hammer, making it more ergonomic to manoeuvre. National Flooring Equipment will also be launching a new shot blaster at the show. The new machine will strip, clean and profile concrete in a single step, increasing productivity. EXECUTIVE HIRE SHOW 2019: 5
