Klauke UK will be showing new tools which eliminate hazards of trailing hoses and cumbersome two-person operation. Instead Klauke say that the powerful 18V Li-Ion driven battery-hydraulic tools can slice through up to 105mm diameter cables and produce 15 tons of compression for terminating cables up to 630mm 2 . A simple one-person operation which is monitored by integrated sensors, confirming full force on every cycle and allowing the ability to certify every installation. Steel strut cutting on construction sites has become even safer with the Greenlee hydraulic strut cutter. Mounted on a mobile trolley for easy site use, the Shear 30T eliminates hazards associated with traditional cutters (blades, rotating discs, sparks, noise). It has a controlled hydraulic shear producing burr free cuts quickly and accurately. The shearing action wipes galvanic coatings across the cut end to aid corrosion protection instantly. Powered by a compact battery driven hydraulic pump this offers the perfect site strut cutting solution.
