The agreement involves the merger of Fraco and Turboiber subsidiaries in France and UK. Turboiber (UK) has been newly formed and offers a fleet of over 1,000 units of lifting equipment including mast climbing work platforms, passenger hoists, transport platforms, industrial goods and passenger lifts. Turboiber (UK) is now the exclusive distributor for both the Canadian and Spanish manufacturers’ equipment. The Turboiber (UK) fleet includes the FMC-3 medium duty rack and pinion work platform which has a maximum lift capacity of 1,100kg and offers a lift speed of 7.5 metres per minute. The maximum platform length on a single mast is 10 metres with 2.6 metre deck sections. The FMC-3 platform is designed for quick mobilisation with minimum resources and is ideal for building contractors who are seeking work equipment with medium load capacity. Turboiber (UK) will be exhibiting at Bauma from 8th - 15th April 2019 on stand number FS1104/8. Restricted Access No Problem County Lifting has enhanced the company’s fleet of equipment with a BG Lift CWE 525 tracked crane which was chosen on the basis of its ability to access and operate within very restrictive environments that alternative wheeledmachines would otherwise be unable to access due to poor or fragile ground conditions. Its powered fly-jib, along with additional low headroom Z Boom attachments, manual sections and low headroom hoist kit, all aid the machine to achieve highly complex lifts. Whilst the machine is entirely controlled via one Scanreco remote, it offers the flexibility of zero tailswing, variable riggers and operation using either an electric three phase connection or Tier 4 diesel engine. The crane is especially suited to working within restrictive and awkward sites where an alternative solution is not always preferred due to the cost and implementation time. The BG Lift CWE 525 was recently used to install a complete conveyor systemwithin a new building and onto a mezzanine structure surrounded by other newly installed equipment. The mezzanine structure required the conveyor sections to be assembled onto its first level but also to carry on the installation to below a second upper level. County Lifting’s solution was to supply the CWE 525 crane along with its attachments to rig below the mezzanine structure working up through the supporting steel beams to lift and place each conveyor section. This meant that the crane was required to be re-positioned and re-rigged multiple times along with its varying attachments. The Z boom attachment helped to lift sections underneath low headroom areas whilst the manual section was used to gain radius of lift. The hoist was used to lift up smaller and heavier sections through the steel floor.
