Former MD of XylemUK Joins Pump Supplies New LOC Plant Fleet of Draining and Culvert Jetting Equipment LOC Plant, a family run plant and steel fabrication business based in South Wales with depots in Hertfordshire and South Yorkshire, has developed a fleet of all terrain drainage and culvert jetting equipment following close consultation with the company’s clients and partners. The equipment offers a turnkey solution to a long-standing access problem when trying to maintain drainage systems and culverts that are not accessible from the highways, especially in the rail environment where assets can be some distance through fields away from the nearest highway. Traditionally, to access and maintain culverts, expensive and disruptive works have been required which have included the building of temporary access roads causing significant damage to the land, as well as the process being time consuming. LOC Plant’s aim was to find a more efficient, environmentally friendly and innovative solution to help deliver their clients’ drainage and culvert maintenance works, avoiding expensive and disruptive temporary works. The company designed, developed and built jetting units from high pressure 1000 litre restricted access units to medium pressure 3000 litre units. All are on rubber tracks and cause no damage to fields or even crops, so jetting and maintenance can be delivered and planned 365 days a year. Top Broker Steve Moody of SKM Asset Finance Ltd is delighted to announce that the company won the ‘Top Hard Assets Broker’ accolade at the Leasing World Awards in November 2018. The awards are the finance industry’s equivalent of the Oscars and the company is very proud to have won such a prestigious trophy.
