Endorsed by Build UK, they provide any person working in construction-related occupations as a manager or supervisor with the basic knowledge required to ensure compliance with the health and safety requirements of any construction project. As many training candidates on the CPCS Crane Supervisor and Appointed Person courses are directly involved in site supervision and management, these new courses have been designed to complement LTS’s existing lifting operation courses. Many of these training candidates will be required to successfully complete the SMSTS or SSSTS training courses in addition to obtaining a CPCS card specifically for lifting roles. By offering its Site Safety Plus training, LTS is able to ensure that training candidates are taught to the same high standard across all its courses by instructors who have many years of experience in the lifting and construction industry. This will create a consistent learning experience. Like all courses provided by LTS, the new Site Safety Plus training courses can be delivered at the company’s own Biggleswade training centre, where there are excellent classroom facilities, or at a customer’s own premises. These courses are the Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), the Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) and Health and Safety Awareness.
