This has been produced as a result of the Construction Leadership Council asking the HSE to work with industry to develop guidance on alternatives to diesel as part of their ZeroDiesel initiatives. Although generic in content, the intention is to use the CONIAC publication as the basis for a CPA plant-based guidance publication, initially for tower crane and hoist owners/users who specify /buy BESS units. Support has also been attained from the National Fire Chiefs Council, from various BESS suppliers and the HSE. CPA Safety Publications Catalogue 2024/2025 The Safety Publications Catalogue has been updated for 2024/2025 and lists all of the CPA’s safety-related publications including those produced by the Special Interest Groups and the Plant Safety Group, as well as CPA badged publications.
