www.cpa.uk.net CPA Bulletin > May 2024 7 ASSOCIATION NEWS: 1 The CPA Annual Golf Day will be held on Thursday 18th July 2024 at Rutland Water Golf Course in Oakham, Rutland. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the construction industry charity, the Lighthouse Club. Held on the Normanton 18 hole championship course, Rutland Water Golf Course is one of the country’s finest new golf courses. The venue was introduced for the first time at last year’s CPA Golf Day and it was very well received. The cost of the day is £125 per person plus VAT and includes coffee and bacon rolls, 18 holes of golf, a two course dinner and an awards ceremony with prizes. The competition will be an individual stableford, together with a team stableford competition. Prizes will be awarded for the winning individual and team, as well as nearest the pin and the longest drive. Places for the CPA Annual Golf Day are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. For more details, please contact Lisa Collins on 07968 840390 or email: lisa @ lisacollinscommunications.co.uk ASSOCIATION NEWS CPA Annual Golf Day 2024 CPA Member Webinar in Conjunction With Supply Chain Sustainability School The CPA is a partner member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS) and is an activemember of SCSS’s Plant Group. As an SCSS partner, this allows CPAmembers to access the school’s training workshops and other support packages. SCSS staff have been very proactive in engaging with CPA staff in order to fully utilise the benefits that come with partner status. Although a number of CPA members are members of the school in their own right, in discussion with the SCSS it was felt that CPA should provide a support package for all members, making them aware of what and how they can access SCSS’s many workshops and support packages. To introduce CPA members to the school and highlight the opportunities, a joint CPA/SCSS webinar is being organised for Wednesday 5th June 2024 .
