Tim also represents the civil engineering sector on the CPCS Management Committee in a Vice-Chair role. Nominations for a number of categories have initially been filtered by the CPA selection panel comprising: Kevin Minton - Kevin is Chief Executive of the CPA and has worked for the organisation since 2007. He has been instrumental in working with members and other organisations to promote and develop safe and efficient use of construction plant. Rob Squires - Rob is the CPA’s Training and Safety Manager and one of the co-ordinators of the Stars programme. Prior to joining the CPA, following a long career in the armed forces, he spent a number of years managing training, card and certification schemes with experience at CITB managing a range of CSCS- based schemes. Lisa Collins - Lisa is a Communications Consultant to the CPA and the other co-ordinator of Stars, having been involved in the organisation of Stars for several years. Prior to setting up independently, Lisa headed up the Marketing Communications Department at A-Plant, now known as Sunbelt Rentals, for almost 10 years. Peter Brown - Peter is the CPA’s Technical and Development Manager. He has a long background in plant technical operation and maintenance, followed by experience in plant-based education, training and development, including 18 years at CITB as a standard-setter for plant occupational standards, qualifications, training standards and CPCS. The winners of Stars of the Future 2020 will be announced via an online awards ceremony on Thursday 17th September 2020 .
