Brian was elected to the CPA Council over 30 years ago and has been CPA President since 2017. Rob Squires is the CPA’s Training and Safety Manager. Prior to joining the CPA, he spent many years managing training, card and certification schemes with experience within the demolition sector and with CITB managing a range of CSCS-based schemes. rob @ cpa.uk.net AdamGodwin has two roles within the CPA; he is responsible for communications to the Members, where he edits the CPA Bulletin and oversees the CPA’s website; he is also a Director of the Rail Plant Association (RPA). adam @ cpa.uk.net David Smith has worked as the CPA’s Legal Manager since 2001, and has qualifications in both law and accounting. Prior to joining the CPA, David worked in the construction industry for eight years. david @ cpa.uk.net Steve Mulholland was appointed CPAChief Executive Officer in August 2024. Hewas previously CPAChair for six years. His career in the plant-hire industry began in 1989 as an Apprentice and hewas later Director and Co-Owner of MPS (Mulholland Plant Services Limited). steven @ cpa.uk.net PeterBrown is the CPA’s Technical and Development Manager. He has a long background in plant technical operation andmaintenance activities, followed by experience in plant-based education and training and development, including 18 years at CITB and latterly as CPCS Product Manager. peter @ cpa.uk.net Katie Kelleher is the CPA’s Technical andDevelopment Officer. She provides CPAMemberswith guidance on technical, training and safety subjects, aswell as helping produce andmaintain our publications. She represents CPA in variousworking groups. Katiewas previously a Crane Operator and Appointed Person. katie @ cpa.uk.net Chris Cassley is responsible for the development and lobbying of the key policy issues that are important to CPA Members. He spent 16 years at the CBI where he was responsible for construction policy and acted as Secretariat to the CBI Construction Council. chris @ cpa.uk.net Luis Bassett joined the CPA in October 2024 in the newly created role of Decarbonisation and Sustainability Manager. Luis joined the CPA from the London Borough of Merton, where he worked for over eight years. He has extensive experience in low emission solutions for the construction plant sector. luis @ cpa.uk.net Lisa Godwin is the CPA’s Membership Manager. She has worked at CPA for over 25 years and has a wealth of experience supporting CPA Members.
